Payment, cancellation and who we are

Japanese law requires a business selling online to publish the details below. We would want you to have them anyway before you send us any money.

When you payAfter you write to us and we confirm the dates are free and that we can look after you properly. Only then do we send a payment link.

If we cancel, you are refunded in full.

If a disaster or an epidemic prevents you from entering Japan, we will move your booking to any dates within a year, at no charge.

If your plans change, ask us about moving the dates before asking for a refund. Where we have space, we would much rather do that.

Refunds are made in Japanese yen to the card used. Exchange rates move, so the amount you receive may not match the amount you paid.

Please write to us before you pay

We check availability, and we ask about the person travelling, before any money changes hands. If we do not think we are the right people for your situation, we will tell you so — and there will be nothing to refund. We do not accept payment before that conversation.
